About
Gringo Press is Sterling Terrell. I live in Lubbock. I make websites, write long-form, and start projects to find out if they are worth keeping.
Some of the work already out in the world is a cotton index, a wire, a gin directory, a farm site, and a notebook I have been keeping under my own name. The archive is short on purpose. I would rather add a row when something is real than fill this page with promises.
The plan, if you can call it that: keep making things until one of them sticks, or until someone wants to pay me to create for them. Both outcomes are fine.
Gringo — noun. A foreigner, especially an American.
Why Gringo Press? Because everywhere I have ever lived was not a place I was born, from, or raised. Because I have felt like a foreigner my entire life.
What I will do for you
- A site. One page or a small set of pages. Clear, fast, yours.
- Writing. Long-form for a trade, a farm, a shop, a person who needs to be found.
- Something else. If you can describe it, I will tell you whether I can make it.
